KM Kelud Docking Until September 25 2021 While No Shipping To Batam

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The Head of the Batam Pelni Branch, Agus Suprijatno, confirmed that the Kelud ship is currently in a docking position in Jakarta.
As long as the Umsini and Bukit Raya ships are still used as central isolation points, Kelud is the only Pelni ship that operating and anchoring in Batam.
This passenger ship serves the Tanjungpriok - Batam - Tanjungbalai Karimun - Belawan route.

"Currently Kelud is still operating, but now the it's in anchored position, usually, there are Umsini and Bukit Raya, but the ships still serve for isoters," said Agus, Tuesday, (9/14/2021).
In the near future, KM Kelud will not be able to sail to Batam, because it is still undergoing routine maintenance (docking) at PT DKB Jakarta.
This docking process is carried out regularly every year.
The activities carried out include repair and maintenance of ships.
"The ship will be filled with supplies and fuel. Hopefully, on September 25, 2021, we will be able to sail again, we will inform you later," added Agus. (TRIBUNBATAM.id/Hening Sekar Utami)
